SMS Terms of Service

Program Description

Kennedy Plumbing, Heating & Cooling LLC ("Kennedy PHC") operates an SMS messaging program to communicate with customers regarding plumbing, heating, and cooling services. We send two types of text messages:

• Transactional Messages: These include appointment confirmations, service reminders, technician dispatch notifications, job completion confirmations, and billing/invoice notifications. Transactional messages are sent as part of your service relationship with Kennedy PHC.
• Promotional Messages: These include special offers, seasonal maintenance reminders, new service announcements, and other marketing communications. Promotional messages are sent only with your prior express written consent.

How to Opt In

You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Kennedy PHC in the following ways:

• By providing your mobile phone number when scheduling service and checking the opt-in box;
• By texting a designated keyword to our business number;
• By verbally consenting when speaking with a Kennedy PHC representative and confirming in writing.

By opting in, you confirm that you are the account holder or have the account holder's permission to use the mobile number provided, and that you are at least 18 years of age.

Message Frequency

Message frequency varies based on your service activity. Transactional messages are sent as needed in connection with your scheduled services. Promotional messages are sent no more than 4 times per month unless you have requested more frequent communication.

Message and Data Rates

Message and data rates may apply. Standard SMS and data rates charged by your mobile carrier apply to all messages sent and received. Kennedy PHC does not charge for text messages, but your carrier's standard rates will apply.

How to Opt Out

You may opt out of receiving SMS messages from Kennedy PHC at any time by:

• Replying STOP to any text message from us;
• Calling us at (607) 746-2198 and requesting to be removed from our SMS list;
• Contacting us in writing at 73 Meredith St, Delhi, NY 13753.

After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You will not receive further promotional messages. Note that opting out of promotional messages does not affect transactional messages related to active service appointments.

Supported Carriers

Our SMS program is supported by most major US carriers, including but not limited to AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile, Sprint, and US Cellular. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers. Kennedy PHC is not responsible for delays or failures in message delivery due to carrier issues.

Privacy

We will not share, sell, or rent your mobile phone number to third parties for their marketing purposes. Your information is used solely in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

Kennedy PHC reserves the right to modify these SMS Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued participation in our SMS program after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
